What does the work involve?

The work involves providing daily assistance in the homes of people who are experiencing loss of autonomy. Adults/seniors experiencing loss of autonomy have many needs. We’re looking for people who can offer care and services such as:

  • help with bathing, eating and getting dressed;
  • administering medication, putting on compression stockings;
  • presence/supervision;
  • respite for caregivers;
  • stimulation activities.

Who will be my employer?

This job is offered under a government program (Direct allocation program – service employment paycheque). Workers hired under this program are not employees of the CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent, which acts as an intermediary between users and workers.
