Direct allocation program – service employment paycheque
What does the work involve? 
The work involves providing daily assistance in the homes of people who are experiencing loss of autonomy. Adults/seniors experiencing loss of autonomy have many needs. We’re looking for people who can offer care and services such as:
- help with bathing, eating and getting dressed;
- administering medication, putting on compression stockings;
- presence/supervision;
- respite for caregivers;
- stimulation activities.

Who will be my employer?
This job is offered under a government program (Direct allocation program – service employment paycheque). Workers hired under this program are not employees of the CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent, which acts as an intermediary between users and workers.
