General social services
General social services offer short-term psychosocial follow-up for youth, parents and families.
The objectives of general social services are:
- to meet the needs of youth and their families who are experiencing temporary situational problems that may be acute and reversible;
- to prevent the situation from deteriorating;
- to reduce the consequences of the problems experienced by the youth and the family.
Services may be provided at the CLSC, at the family’s home or in another appropriate location.
