Addiction

Addiction services are offered to all individuals experiencing problems related to abuse of or dependence on alcohol, drugs (including certain medications), or gambling. 

Adoption

CISSS staff receive adoption applications for children from Québec. They assess applicants or prospective parents who wish to adopt a child.

Aire ouverte

Aire ouverte offers different services for your health and well-being tailored to the reality of adolescents and young adults aged 12 to 25. 

Bariatric surgery

Cardiology

Childhood immunization

All children should receive the vaccines recommended by the Québec Immunization Program, starting at the age of 2 months. These vaccines are free.

Chronic pain

Pain clinics offer support and guidance services for people living with chronic pain. 

COVID-19 Testing

COVID-19 testing at local service points is now reserved for certain higher-priority groups. To get tested, you must book an appointment online at Clic Santé or by phone at 1-877-644-4545.

COVID-19 Vaccination

The primary goal of COVID-19 vaccination is to reduce complications, hospitalizations and deaths related to COVID-19. 

Cryotherapy

This treatment uses extreme cold to destroy tissue. 

Dermatology

This branch of medicine treats diseases of the skin, skin appendages (hair, body hair, nails, etc.), and the mucous membranes of body openings.   

Detection of group A streptococcus

Group A streptococcus is a bacterial infection that can affect both adults and children, causing sore throat and other complications if left untreated.

This service conducts diagnostic tests using devices that capture and record the electrical activity of the heart, brain and nerves (e.g., ECG, Holter monitor, treadmill).

This service offers information on sexuality as well as access to a range of services related to pregnancy, contraception and fertility.   

First-episode psychosis clinics

The STEPP clinic and the RAP clinic provide specialized care to youth who are experiencing their first psychotic episode and their family.

Health insurance card renewal

If you don’t have a driver’s licence, you can go to the reception desk of a CLSC to authenticate or renew your health insurance card.

Hearing difficulties

Hearing difficulties disrupt language development and limit a person’s ability to communicate with others. 

Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination

Flu vaccination is offered in the fall against the prevailing influenza virus strains during flu season.

Intake-Analysis-Guidance-Referral (AAOR)

The mission of intake, analysis, guidance, and referral services (AAOR) is to collect referrals for CLSC services within the CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent.  

Intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder

The CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent offers a range of services for people of all ages living with an intellectual disability or an autism spectrum disorder.

Intensive functional rehabilitation unit (URFI)

URFI provides specialized rehabilitation for individuals with physical impairments, with the goal of promoting their social integration. The objective is to support the optimal resumption of daily activities through an intensive, time-limited approach.

Magnetic resonance imaging

This imaging technique is used to obtain detailed 2D and 3D images of the body’s tissues and internal organs.
