L'Estran addiction rehabilitation centre
L’Estran, the addiction rehabilitation centre for Bas-Saint-Laurent, offers free and confidential services to the entire population of the Bas-Saint-Laurent region. Different service points located in each of the eight regional county municipalities (MRCs) make it possible to meet the needs of the entire population.
Target population
Services are available without restriction to:
- anyone experiencing difficulties with alcohol, drugs or medications;
- anyone experiencing problems related to excessive gambling;
- loved ones: spouse or partner, children, parents, etc.
As part of ongoing collaboration with professionals concerned with issues related to psychotropic substance use or excessive gambling, the centre also provides information and individualized training to:
- its partners in community organizations and in the health and social services, justice, education and employment sectors;
- any group interested in one or more of these issues and wishing to improve or deepen its knowledge in order to better support its clients.
Occasionally, the centre organizes or participates in various activities in order to promote coordination and collaboration with its partners.
