General social services
Social services are offered to all individuals age 18 and over who are experiencing temporary or situational problems that may be acute and reversible.
Short-term intervention is provided with the goal of preventing the situation from worsening and helping the person regain balance.
Psychosocial consultation
Psychosocial consultation is offered to individuals facing a temporary problem (specific or situational), such as bereavement, communication difficulties within a couple and/or family, work-related problems, issues related to life stages and problems related to victimization (e.g., domestic violence, legal proceedings).

Psychological consultation
Psychological consultation services offer psychotherapy sessions and clinical intervention to individuals experiencing a temporary psychological issue (specific or situational).
These short-term sessions can take place in individual, couple, family or group settings.
Psychological consultation services are provided by psychologists or other professionals who hold a psychotherapy licence issued by the Ordre des psychologues du Québec.
