Outpatient psychiatry clinic
The outpatient psychiatry clinic serves an adult population presenting with a major psychiatric disorder, an acute adjustment disorder with personality vulnerability, a personality disorder, and similar conditions.
Some specialized programs offered through the outpatient psychiatry clinic can also be available to youth. For example, clinics for young people experiencing a first psychotic episode. For more information, consult the Adolescents section of our website.

Cognitive-behavioural therapy clinic
This specialized clinic, offered in the Rimouski-Neigette territory, serves individuals referred by psychiatrists from the outpatient psychiatry clinic who present with one of the following disorders:
- panic disorder with or without agoraphobia
- Social anxiety disorder
- specific phobia
- generalized anxiety disorder
- obsessive-compulsive disorder
- post-traumatic stress disorder
- eating disorders (anorexia nervosa, bulimia where symptoms are severe and result in significant functional impairment)
These are individual therapy sessions, with frequency and duration determined through an agreement between the service user and the professional.
