What is ADHD?

ADHD is a neurological disorder. People who have it have difficulty controlling their behaviour and staying focused. Although it’s generally diagnosed during childhood, the disorder often continues into adulthood.

Does your child have attention difficulties?

CISSS professionals offer children with attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity, as well as their parents, services through a specialized clinic.

The clinic provides services from a psychoeducator who, during meetings, provides you with information about the characteristics of the disorder and the best strategies to help your child.

Would you like to receive services from a psychoeducator?

Services related to attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity are offered only through a referral from your family doctor.

For information about services for attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity, contact the CLSC nearest you.
