Screening centres
In the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, three screening centres and the SARA mobile unit are designated by the Québec Breast Cancer Screening Program. These screening centres and the SARA mobile unit meet the quality standards of the Canadian Association of Radiologists and the Laboratoire de santé publique du Québec.
These screening centres and the SARA mobile unit are equipped to accommodate individuals with reduced mobility or in a wheelchair. When booking an appointment, it’s important to specify your needs regarding any limitations and the type of equipment you use so that the centre can adapt the exam and plan the duration of your appointment.
