Adult family-type resource ID-ASD-PD

An adult family-type resource (FTR) in the category of foster home is a living environment where one or two people welcome, into their primary residence, up to a maximum of nine adults or seniors with an intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder or a physical disability. These individuals provide a living environment that is as close as possible to a natural home setting, along with support and assistance services based on the needs of the users entrusted to them.

Why become a family-type resource?

  • To offer the necessary lodging, meals, support and assistance to people with an intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder or a physical disability so they can live in the community and have a real home.
  • To contribute to the personal development of these individuals.
  • To create your own work project.
  • To work in partnership with professionals while respecting the policies and values of the CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent.
