End of the intervention

When the DPJ agrees with the child and their parents that the child’s safety or development is no longer compromised, it must end its intervention. The intervention must also end when the child reaches 18 years of age. If the child or their parents still need assistance, the DPJ must inform them of available community resources and, with their consent, refer them to those services.
