Intermediate resource for ID-ASD-PD
An intermediate resource (IR) plays a role in the retention and social integration of users by offering them an adapted space that is as close as possible to their home setting. Support services are tailored to the user’s needs.
To be recognized as an intermediate resource, the resource must be operated by a physical person as an independent worker, a legal person or a partnership. The resource plays a role in maintaining and integrating users with an intellectual disability (ID), an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or a physical disability (PD) in the community, by providing them with a living environment adapted to their needs and the support services required by their condition.
